The Union Adult Learning Center offers morning and evening English as a Second Language (ESL) classes for adult students. Classes help students improve their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Students take a pretest upon enrollment and posttest after 40 hours of instruction to measure their language acquisition. Students are placed in leveled classes based on their understanding and use of the English language. Classes run throughout the traditional school year and new students can enroll quarterly.
Beginning January 2021, classes will be offered in person and virtually as long as the district remains open for in person instruction due to COVID-19 guidelines.
